Prepare an infusion:


About 2-3g (1 teaspoon) of dried plant for 1 cup of water.

One can prepare in a teapot with 20g of dried plant for 500ml of water.

- boil some water.
- pour the quivering water into a bowl (as a teapot) containing the plant, and put a lid by above.
- let infuse during 10 minutes.
- leak out with a sieve and overturn into a bowl
- Yu can add some sugar or some honey before drinking.

Posology: Drink 3 to 4 cups a day (about 500ml).


Prepare a decoction:


About 20g of dried plant for 750ml of cold water which will be reduced in 500ml.

- put the plant in a pan with some water.
- carry in boiling and let shiver during 20-30mn up to reduction of a third
- filter the decoction with a sieve.
- overturn into a bowl and put in the cool.


Posology: Drink 3 to 4 cups a day (about 500ml).


It is necessary about 20g of dried plant for 500ml of water.

- put the plant in a bowl with some cold water and cover.
- let soak a whole night.
- leak out

Note: A maceration is made in quant cold the active principles of a plant can be destroyed by the warmth. Nevertheless, one can doit with the water and the already infused plant or décoctionnée.


Posology: Drink 3 to 4 cups a day (about 500ml).


Prepare an alcoholic tincture:


It is necessary 200g of dried plant for 1 liter of alcohol for more than 45 ° (Vodka, Rum)

- put the plant in a glass bowl and cover it with alcohol

- close, shake 1-2mn and store in a fresh and dark place (10 in 14 days).
- shake every 2 days.
- pour the preparation into a juicer for wine or possibly into a sieve to filter the plant.
- pour the tincture into a bowl


Posology: Drink 2,5ml of tincture diluted in a glass of water 2 - 3 times a day.


Prepare some wine for base of plant:

Between 25 and 100 grams of dried plant for 1 liter of white or red wine.

- put the plant in a big jar, pay(pour) enough wine to cover it completely.
- close the bowl with care, shake and let it during 2 weeks.
- filter the plant and keep at cool in a closed bowl.


The drink keeps 4 months maximum.

Drink 1 half glass of wine a day.


Prepare a medicinal oil:

250g of dried plant for 750ml of vegetable quality oil (olive, sunflower).

- mix the oil and the plant in a salad bowl warmed in the bath marries.

- cover and let shiver during 2-3h.

- let cool, then pour the mixture into a passoir or a juicer and be well urgent to extract from it all the liquid.

The medicinal oil keeps about 1 year in a coloured glass flask.

NB: You can do also oil for cold: It is necessary to compress the plant in a jar, to pour the oil and to make rest 2 in 6 weeks, get back then the liquid.


Prepare a bath for base of plant:

- overturn 500ml of an infusion (or the other drink) filtered by plant in the water of your bath. One can also put 5 in 10 drops of essential oil

According to what one wants one soaks completely or seluement the reached part of the body.


Prepare an ointment or a cream:

About 60g of dried plant and according to: ointment: 500g of petroleum jelly or soft paraffin wax; cream: 300g of émulsifiante wax, 140g of glycerin and 160ml of water.

- to melt the mixture cream or ointment in a glass bowl in the bath marries.
- add the plant finely cut and let shiver 15mn for the ointment and 3 hours for the cream while moving.
- pour the mixture into a stamen(muslin) fixed with the thread at the edge of a jar and leak out.
- thread rubber gloves and press the mixture to extract most possible liquid of the stamen(muslin).
- overturn without waiting for the liquid ointment or for the cream in jars. Close jars and cooled time, screw profoundly lids.
Posology: Apply a small quantity 2 - 3 times a day.
